The MercInc experience (Part 1)

Hello! I'm back!

I feel it's time to show off with the project I've been working on for the last 6-7 months. It was in the beginning of February when I was unexpectedly approached by Logan Pellerin - the boss of a young indie team, developing a computer game based on the concept of MechWarrior. I never expected to fit in - me, being a peaceful freak on details, design and aesthetics, never a gamer. But I took it as a challenge. And magic happened. Thanks to the mastermind behind the team who had the vision of it all in his head, Anthony Soto. We spent hours discussing Sci-Fi movies, industrial-looking spaces and spaceship design details. In fact we got along so well and they were both so pleased with my work that a couple of months later hired 2 more awesome Bulgarian artists that I highly recommended.
In late August the game was almost ready for testing. Unfortunately, we were suddenly shut down.

I didn't want to publish any of my work on this project earlier because of privacy concerns. Now that it may never be used at all, I feel no pressure about it. You'll see some designs and animation in my next posts.
